An Unforgettable Night of Music on Maui
Few musicians have left a mark on modern music quite like Carlos Santana. Known for his distinctive guitar sound, legendary performances, and decades of influence across multiple genres, Santana continues to captivate audiences around the world.
During a performance at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului, Maui, I had the opportunity to photograph Santana and document an unforgettable evening of live music. The concert brought together fans from across Hawai’i and beyond, creating an electric atmosphere from the first note to the final encore.
Photographing a Legendary Performer
Concert photography presents unique challenges and opportunities. Lighting changes constantly, performers move unpredictably, and every moment happens only once.
Photographing Santana was an incredible experience because of the passion and energy he brings to the stage. Every song created new opportunities to capture authentic moments, powerful expressions, and the connection between artist and audience.
The gallery from this event includes a collection of images documenting the performance, showcasing both intimate moments and the larger energy of the concert experience.
